Our Story
Four decades of switching & control expertise
Pennine Components Ltd was established in 1979 as a specialist distributor of Potter & Brumfield relays and Saia Burgess microswitches, based in the North of England some 25 miles east of Manchester.
Over the years we've added many suppliers while staying true to our theme — specialists in switching components such as magnetic switches, safety switches, proximity sensors, relays and rocker switches, serving a wide variety of industry. We began with the UK oil, machine-tool and bus-fleet markets and now trade globally, welcoming enquiries from export customers and consumers alike.
1979Founded as a specialist distributor of Potter & Brumfield relays and Saia Burgess microswitches.
2015Acquired the Greenbrook Controls & Components division of Greenbrook Electrical PLC (formerly B&R Relays).
2021Moved to a new purpose-built warehouse on Canal Side Industrial Estate, Todmorden, and launched a new website with 17,000+ selection attributes.
